Mayer House

621 Poplar Mayer House

This two-and-one-half story Flemish bond brick home was built approximately in 1921. Its design has Craftsman and Spanish Mission influences. The house is three bays wide with a hipped ceramic tile roof and has a tile roofed front porch supported by wooden columns. The first floor features a set of triple, twelve-pane bay windows on either side of the front entrance. Windows on the second floor are eight-over-one, double-hung. It is classified as a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places.

Horn House

619 Poplar Horn House

Built around 1910, this two-and-one-half story brick home is two bays wide and of the American Foursquare style. The house has three, double-hung bay windows on both the first and second floors. A bracketed roof is covered with slate-look composition shingles with a single gabled dormer. It is classified as a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bromley House

611 Poplar Bromley House

This two-and-one-half story home is built of Flemish bond brick. It is in the vernacular style of the neighborhood with numerous Craftsman features. The gabled roofline and the gabled front porch are decorated with simply carved wooden vergeboards. The enclosed porch has a tin roof while the house is roofed in asphalt shingles. The house was build about 1922. It consists of two bays with three, double-hung bay windows on the first and second floors. It is classified as a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places.

Loesel House

615 Poplar Loesel House

This vernacular style home features Greek Revival decorations. It is two bays wide and two-and-one-half stories high. The first floor is brick while the second and top floors are sided with split shingles. The second floor windows are eight-over-one, double-hung. The house has an enclosed porch running the full width of the façade. It is classified as a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places.
